About the Artists

Christopher Krueger, a renowned trumpet player and vocalist, hails from the vibrant jazz scene of Chicago, Illinois. His musical journey began at a young age, and by 17, he was already performing professionally with Rich Daniels and the Big Band Machine. Christopher's talent took him across the globe, touring Europe with the United States Collegiate Wind Band in 1978.

Dedicated to both his music and his country, Christopher served in the Marine Corps Music Program for over 26 years, showcasing his skills as a musician and conductor. Upon retiring from the military, he found a new home leading the Mississippi Coast Stompers Jazz Quintet at the Silver Slipper Casino.

Now based in the Gulf Coast and Greater New Orleans area, Christopher continues to share his passion for jazz through freelance trumpet performances and recording studio work. Whether captivating audiences on stage or mentoring aspiring musicians through trumpet lessons, Christopher's dynamic presence and rich musicality leave an indelible mark. Kerry Lewis, hailing from the hallowed musical streets of New Orleans, has proven his mastery and dedication to his craft through tours on five continents and performances with iconic ensembles such as Preservation Hall and the Leroy Jones Quintet. From blues to jazz to roots, Kerry's versatile bass playing enriches every musical endeavor.
